I will say from just the synopsis that I was wondering if prison meant we were going to get a callback to the fights in D'avin's introduction.

I like the reference to the pilot when D'avin mentions 'I heard about [the tournament] when I was back in the circuit'

The Quad (and the Qreshis) may not care about Westerly, but them effectively losing Westerly definitely effects them.

It's interesting seeing Khlyen stalling and/or trying to teach the Lady about being human.

I really wasn't expecting Sparlow to team up with Coren.

I like that it looks like Pree and Gared and Aneela and Delle's relationships are going to be important to stopping the Lady.

Going by the preview for next week, Johnny and the Warden teaming up should be interesting (I enjoyed Rachael Ancheril in Wynonna Earp, so I'm glad her character's sticking around for a bit).

Having D'avin be the expert on a topic (prison fights) for once is adorable.

I guess Johnny's weirdness is the avatar of the season's thesis regarding the importance of memories? Even fake ones? I guess.

Momma Delle is super fascinating. I love her dynamic with Jaq, and Jaq's calm, old soul thing that he has going on.

I thought the alliance with prison guy seemed kind of unexpected. This is all very stressful.
