An ambush sends Dutch and Johnny running to Pree's warlord past for help, as D'avin tries to get to the bottom of a Black Warrant that hits unexpectedly close to home.
I'm going to have to watch this again, I think? I'm not sure if I was bored, or too tired to be watching tv. Zephyr is still a giant meh for me. I did love that Dutch and D'avin found out that Johnny killed Delle Seyah, or thought he did,and were still like, welp. *fighting resumes*
D'avin only has one brother! He had a lot of great one-liners.
The return of the guy who tried to steal Pree's bar as a lovesick hippie was fun. Pree, layered like an onion.
Turin talking about how even the asshole agents deserve defending explains a lot about him, I think.
I liked that Johnny and Dutch put all their cards on the table. Now never fight again, please.
Pree is always a lot of fun! His warlord backstory was intriguing although I'm not certain the plot entirely made sense (again the problem might have been me lol).
I love everything about Pree and I always will. I'm very confused about the hair, but other than that, the plotline was Pree! Terrifying famous warrior! Passionate necking with rage filled sexy beast ex! Then suddenly bartender Pree again! With the ex-thug boyfriend!
I really enjoyed this episode but I'm pretty easy with this show because I don't think there's been an episode yet that I haven't enjoyed.
I loved the focus on Pree in this episode. I also loved that D'av and Dutch finally learned about Johnny "killing" Delle Seyah and that Johnny learned he didn't actually kill her.
Much as I adore whenever Dutch and Johnny are on the same page, I also like when there's some tension between them like there was in this episode. Though I also love that they resolved it so quickly because their friendship/partnership is my very favorite thing about this show so while some tension/angst is fine, I don't want their relationship to EVER be in real trouble.
My only disappointment with this season so far is the lack of Alvis. I don't know if Morgan Kelly had another project or something, but I miss Alvis a lot and I really hope we see him again soon.
Hi! Welcome! I miss Alvis too, though the story is so RAC-focused that maybe they couldn't think of anything for him to do. Or maybe it would interfere with wherever they're going with D'avin/Dutch. Though I hate to think of Dutch not getting any companionship right now, she needs a little joy in her life! Especially in the form of buff monks who like being tied to the bed.
I like that all the secrets within the team are out now - excited for the inevitable John/Seyah Kendry showdown.
