Hee, no rules against posting your own discussions! I always think of doing it on Friday afternoon but it's easiest to put it up when I actually watch. They may have broken the banter scale in this episode but it was great. I'm a fan of all the brother stuff and Zeph's little, ugh, you smell like sports.

A surprisingly upbeat ending, all things considered?

Definitely surprisingly upbeat. On any other show all that operatic battle buildup would have projected at least one of the major characters on Leith dying (well, I guess they did get Pree's ex), and I never projected both Fancy and Turin surviving after all of that buildup. And the bantery closing with Dell Seyah appealed to me much more than I would have expected.

Johnny's little grin after the "you smell like sports" line was the perfect punctuation on that moment.
